Frizzy Hair is Hair Fashion Now

frizzy editorial hair

With the hundreds of monthly fashion magazines soaring off the newsstands one thing that has been appearing frequently in the ads and editorial is frizzy, teased hair.  When the 80’s made it’s come-back 7 years ago on the catwalks and onto the street fashion all the fashionistas were missing was the bigger-is-better hair.  Although the current fashion forward look is a progressive mixture of the late 80’s and early 90’s.  Grungy pants, doc martens, loose tees, tucked in shirts, button down jackets, and parachute pants. The 80’s is not over yet regarding hair.   Editorial shoots and catwalks are teasing, poofing, and glamorizing frizzy hair.  A battle has been won for those with the natural poof of frizz. If your not ready to wear you natural frizz, it’s okay, we’ve got plenty of styling tips here on how to tame you mane in beautysmack, but if you dare to sport a frizzy look they try matching with a subdued look of dress.  Notice in this Prada ad that although the texture of the clothing is complex it does not compete with the big hair.  If you try to match it against a more dramatic dress you could come off more of a drag queen than a fashion forward chick.  Vneck tops and low cut are a definite if you want to show off you frizz.  Try to remember that now your big hair is your main accessory.  This is a great way to save some cash and save your style at the same time.  Visit our post on how to tease your hair if you dare to strut your stuff out there…
